Overview
This course is designed to provide you (parents/guardians and the secondary school-aged student) with the basic information required to be able to safely work with computers such as desktops, laptops and tablets. It will go through relevant ergonomic and general health information specifically pertaining to secondary school-aged students. The course has been designed for a parent/guardian and the student to complete this course together however older students may be able to complete the course by themselves. The course should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete and may be completed in more than one session.

Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the user should be able to:
- Set up their home computer (desktop, laptop & tablet) with good ergonomics
- Adjust their chair, screen, keyboard and mouse to suit them ideally
- Be able to identify good and poor postures
- Understand the level of activity and exercise required to keep them healthy
